Hi, my name is Lisa Rowell, and I am born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, B.C., Canada. My natural, heart-felt, intuition allows me to connect with a client on a deeply rooted level. My life's mission is to assist people in alleviating whatever deep-seated issue that they may want to be resolved. You can create the type of life your want, with your amazing mind. I want to let people know there is this hope. Our hypnosis sessions come from a sincere and caring desire to help and be there for you. Clients feel at ease with me knowing that I truly care and wish nothing more than just to help them heal. I did my hypnotherapy training at the world-famous Coastal Academy of Hypnotics Arts and Sciences, in Surrey, B.C, Canada.
I hold a bachelor's science degree in psychology and have over 12 years of experience in the mental health profession. I most recently did my theta healing training in Lithuania; where I took Basic DNA and Advanced DNA seminars.
Well my decision to help people emerged from my own sense of discovering that I had finally found myself. This all started after traveling abroad to South-East Asia and Europe. The fact that I was gone for a year, gave me great insight into whom I am and what I wanted to accomplish with my life. While traveling to these exotic places, gave me the opportunity to meet many different people and learn various customs. I had the pleasure of listening to many interesting stories. After years of rewarding work in various organizations including non-profits; hypnotherapy allows me to harvest my rich experience doing something that I truly love and that is immensely useful.
After graduation is when I started my international journey of seeking enlightenment I fondly remember the now funny moment when the monkeys stole my toiletry kit in India. One took it and ran up a tree. Then the hotel front desk manager came to our room and chased the other ones away with a big stick and yelling. They were very big, quick, and agile. One even tried to steal my laundry from the balcony. Perhaps it was looking to get dressed for a fashion show? Even though I had little money and no plans; I couldn't wait to get on the road in search of a big, fulfilling, and meaningful life.
The experience of breaking both my wrists has shaped who I am as a person. This is the reason why I do what I do! For eight years I worked as a Veterinary Assistant. After the accident of falling off a horse and injuring both my wrists; I had to rethink my career plan. I could no longer work with animals. It took me two years to figure out how I wanted to help people. Now I can't imagine doing anything else:)
In January 2016 I went to visit Tallinn, Estonia for 2 weeks. I stayed with a lovely family. I fell in love with the country. I had come home to my roots. I fit in here, I am quiet, reserved, enjoy my personal space, and love nature. My grandmother left during the war in the 1940s and came to Canada. I was sad to leave Estonia. I had a promise to myself that I would one day move there.
In 2017; my husband and our 2 cats made the leap of faith and moved to Estonia. In 2018 we moved to the UK. In 2021 I moved back home to Canada.
My life has been filled with steep personal challenges and deeply gratifying accomplishments. I have been a mental health specialist, peace and justice activist, animal educator, equestrian, mentor, coach, and Clinical Hypnotherapist.
2023-2025 I am persuing an education in nursing. I hope to move back to Estonia after I am completed school.
