Hi everyone! Wow it is has been a minutes since my last blog. I am finally settled back in Canada. I moved back last year. I am in the process of relaunching my hypnotherapy business. I will start seeing clients in-person at the end of July. I am also doing virtual sessions for those who don't live near me or are more comfortable at home.
Now back to the title of this blog. Waking hynosis is something I wanted to discuss for a while. Waking hypnosis when you talk to anyone of authority. This could be your doctor, a nurse, lawyer, teacher, parent and so on. For example, when your doctor tells you have 6 months to live. Your mind and body really belives. Although is some cases the doctor may be wrong. Or let's say the nurse is having a bad day and may be not in the best mood. They may say not give you any hope and say he may never get off these pills. When in fact some people have. Your mind recieves that information as truth and does not see another way. This happend to my husband where the doctor said well you know I don't think you can get off these pills. Now quite often whenever he see a doctor with a whitecoat it gives him anxiety and his blood pressure goes up. I hope I am making it clear what it is. What these professionals say effects us!! I will be applying to nursing school in the fall. When I am nurse I will always give hope to patients. At the same time you need to be factual and not give false hope. It is a balancing out. Is your glass half full or half empty?

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Today it is very windy in the UK. I attempted to go for a run at the waterfront. I spent half the time chasing after my hat and trying not to get sand in my eyes from the huge gusts of wind haha.
I spent the rest of the day in the kitchen. What can I say I can't get enough of herbal medicine. I have been readings tons of articles and books on the subject. Nothing feels better to me than using your hands to create herbal creations that are good for your health and well-being. I feel I connect with my ancestors this way. Thousands of years ago do you think our ancestors ran to the neatest store when hey had a cut, scrape or cold. Today I made some healing salve made from olive oil, beeswax and coconut oil. A salve in a medicinal ointment that soothes or heals the surface of the body. I get into such a flow with I create these goodies. I have music play, a candle burning and incense burning. I have also made lip balm, body butter and deodorant in a jar. My next goal is to learn to make tinctures and herbal infused oils. These will take 4 to 6 weeks to create. These are fold remedies that you need to patient to create. My life has been so much better since I quit social media back in May. I have found my love of a new hobby. Enjoy the rest of August. well I can't believe since my blog post it has been 2 years!! I have been a nomad of sorts of the past couple years. I stayed in Estonia for 15 months. What an experience living through that dark winter. I had different random jobs there, I worked at hostels and I worked remotely for a Canadian company. That got me through those dark months and paying my bills. I really enjoying traveling around the Baltic from Latvia, Lithuania and alos Sweden. I spent lots of time in bog near my place in Tallinn and connected with the forest magic and my self in the bog. I really had to let everything go when I moved abroad, career, home, comforts of home etc to get to the true essence of who I am. After 15 months I decided the time was right to leave and move on to the next country. We packed up our car with our 2 cats and drove to the UK! We first took a ferry to Finland and then took a ferry 16 hour ferry from Finland to Germany. We spend 1 night in Germany with our cats. They actually seemed to enjoy it! From Germany the next day we who drove to Rotterdam and took another over night ferry to Hull, UK. 3 days later we finally made it! We spent 2 nights in a hotel until we could move into our new place. It was nice to be able to know what people are saying and being able to read food labels again. I had a job there working in the hospital. Me being an empath where I can feel and sense others emotions that was the worst job for me. 6 months of living in Hull we were not happy. A lease was expiring and we decided to move. We looked at Edinburgh which we loved. But the jobs didn't pane out there. We also looked at York. But you know when things are not meant to be. I got a job in London and was renting an Air BnB. We looked at Southend-on-sea. I loved when I visited there last year and but at that time I wasn't able to find a place. I secured a flat for us and we have been living here since December 2018. I was commuting to London for a while but it was getting very trying. I was able to transfer to West cliff on sea position. I have been living out of boxes since 2017. I want a place to call home. That place is not Europe. I have decided to move back to Canada by end of 2019 or 2020. Living in Southend I have been able to connect with my spirituality. I spend time in nature and my work I am meant to do.I am enjoy my crystals again. I am now making my beauty products. I love putting my energy into these things, like body butter, deodorant in a jar. Much more I want to create. Look out in the future I maybe offering some homemade goodies. I also can not wait to offer hypnosis sessions again in Canada.Well after 2 years of planning I have left Canada for good and have moved to Estonia! Why you might ask. Well I say why not! There are a number of reasons. The fist one is this where my grandmother is from. She fled during the war. I visited Estonia last yer and fell in love.
I am more Estonian than I never realized. Even though I don't speak Estonian, which I'm learning:) I have lots of Estonia personality traits. I am quiet, reserved, don't show much emotion on my face, I don't enjoy small talk, enjoy my personal space and solitude and love nature. For the longest time I didn't know why I didn't fit in with Canada. I always felt like an alien. Until I met other Estonians and went to the country. An Estonian friend told me, " You are born in the wrong country". So true were those worlds. We all need to find our tribe in this world. Another reason I am leaving is I am looking for a more simple life. Sure I could move to a small town in Canada. Hey if you are going to move you might as well make it a big one. Eastern Europe has a lower coast of living. This one is a huge reason why lots of people move abroad to places like Thailand, Vietnam, China, Brazil etc.I have always wanted to live abroad. Being afraid is okay. As long as you do it! As I am typing this most of my stuff is in boxes. I am counting down the days until my flight. I look forward to the adventures I will have and how hypnosis will help others around the world. ![]() It is estimated that 51.2 million people in North American have Diabetes. The numbers work out to be about 1 in 10 people! Diabetes is a disease/condition that attacks your Pancreatic cells. It is a metabolic disease in which the body has an inability to produce any or not enough insulin. This causes elevated levels of glucose in the blood. Hypnotherapy is very effective in helping the person to self heal. The therapy can be used to essentially tell the body to either purge this disease for good or bring it under a manageable level. The first steps in this process are to obtain the person's medical history, discover how they are managing their diabetes and finally to ascertain what the best course of action is to promote and facilitate self healing. The next step is to discover what is the client's actual diet is composed of. 3rd step may be helping the client improve their nutrition. This should help them consume healthy and nutritious foods. Your body will not lie. Your blood work will indicate if you have a healthy diet. If your blood sugar is low, then you will feel the same. Hypnosis can help you make better and healthier food choices. It can also assist you with reducing your craving(s) of sugary sweets. The sweets are definitely considered a big issue. I have seen many clients that have a sugar addiction. After hypnotherapy, clients do not crave the sweets anymore and are more consciously aware of what they desire to eat. It's not about necessarily cutting sweet entirely out of your diet. It is more about moderation and being consciously aware of your food choices. Helping a client with any relevant fears regarding diabetes, is also part of the healing process. Some people can have a fear/anxiety of needles or even the diabetes diagnosis itself. Hypnosis can release that emotional fear/anxiety. Another part of helping the person with diabetes, is to encourage them to have develop some sort of exercise plan. This is also very important for weight management. They can initially start small by just walking daily for 20 minutes. Hypnotherapy also changes the way that you may perceive exercise and giving you the motivation and power to do it. Stress reduction through hypnotherapy is another part of their treatment. This will reduce the fight or flight syndrome responce in the body. This syndrome if chronic, will often cause a hormonal insulin change in the body. Hypnotherapy allows the mind and body to rest and relax. The body will be in a wonderful restful state that promotes self healing. The client will gain more energy an and motivation to adhere to their exercise and diet plan. Reduced stress can lower an unhealthy bodily responce. Chronic stress is detrimental to the efficient operation of the bodily systems. This also include the functions of the human mind. In closing, treating someone with diabetes is a multifaceted task. This can involve complying to the doctor's prescribed medication(s), released fear/anxiety of needles, improved exercise routine and motivation, healthier food choices, proper weight management and reduced stress. I have recently worked with a client whom is steadily overcoming his diabetes. His blood glucose is back to normal levels, he now has healthy eating habits, and his sweet cravings are gone. Also, he has an increased motivation for daily exercise and a greatly enhanced energy level. Overall, he is just feeling great about his health. By his own choice and admission, he refused to take an extra diabetes medication that his doctor had prescribed. This client is still doing great and actually not in need of that extra medication. (*Note: I always have my clients adhere to their doctor's orders. Any medication/treatment changes that are done, are accomplished either through their doctor or on their own accord) This client currently is planning to reduce his medication even further. His eventual goal is to no longer need any diabetes medication. He is well on his way to permanently purging the diabetes for good. You mind gives you the power to make this a reality! |
